After researching a variety of film magazine covers, I have acknowledged a few reoccurrences in the products that fulfil the conventions of a film magazine cover.
• Masthead always used on the top half
• Magazine’s tagline always occurred
• Main character image mostly looking towards audience
• Background is mostly edited
• Actor in main image is nearly always in role
• Main headline is linked to the main image
• 3-4 font styles and colours used, giving it a professional finish
• Issue date and price is always presented
I will be using these conventions in my film magazine cover, and may challenge a few.

Advanced Production - The Beginning
As part of my A2 Media, I have tasked to create and Advanced Production that will include the main task of a film teaser trailer, with two subsidiary tasks of a film poster and film magazine cover that will link with my film teaser trailer. I will use this blog to update on the making of this project.
