Review of Film Magazines

After researching a variety of film magazine covers, I have acknowledged a few reoccurrences in the products that fulfil the conventions of a film magazine cover.
Masthead always used on the top half
Magazine’s tagline always occurred
Main character image mostly looking towards audience
Background is mostly edited
Actor in main image is nearly always in role
Main headline is linked to the main image
3-4 font styles and colours used, giving it a professional finish
Issue date and price is always presented

I will be using these conventions in my film magazine cover, and may challenge a few.

Advanced Production - The Beginning

As part of my A2 Media, I have tasked to create and Advanced Production that will include the main task of a film teaser trailer, with two subsidiary tasks of a film poster and film magazine cover that will link with my film teaser trailer. I will use this blog to update on the making of this project.
