Starting Film Magazine Cover

As I used my own digital camera I had to transfer files from my compact flash card to the school computers. With the help of my mock-up, I was able to work straight into my work after the images were transferred.

This was the best image that I could work with due to lighting and poses:



However I will crop this image to work well into my product.

Photoshop - YouTube

As a beginner on using Photoshop I couldn't use the software to my advantage as much as I could. Which then led me to a decision to watch tutorials on YouTube on how to use Photoshop. I looked up for different techniques I wanted to use and followed them accordingly. The tutorials were very helpful and made using Photoshop a lot easier. Editing

As it is the last day of school I decided to use my time to complete as much editing as possible. Though I only had a few hours today, I spent my time wisely and got done as much as I could. I chose the clips I wanted to use and dragged them together to create my incomplete rough cut.

Upload and Editing

Today I spent my free periods importing my video clips from the handy cam to the laptop I am using to edit my movie (on iMovie). I went through each clip and used the crop tool to crop the clips I was sure I didn’t need. For future requirements I stored the unwanted clips on the side. I labelled the clips I want to use for my product to make it easier to understand when I edit later.
